While in Linz I was able to meet Garnet Hertz and his amazing fucking Roachbot V3.0. The bot, which i had wanted to see for quite a while in one version or another, is a robot with the CPU provided in the form of a cockroach. It is clean, well made, and in my opinion goes, in concept, well beyond the simple specticle that draws the viewer initially in. Much has been written i/r/t this specific project, and I hate to be yet another cheesy acolayde pimping my juice all over the insect god... but yea. i like it. I just wish I had gotten to chat with its creator more in depth about it... alas, booze was to be had.
